Shopping Tootsies for Fall Trends 2018

I hope you are all enjoying this beautiful weather. This is a subject worth spending some time on because it is rare and fleeting to have these perfect Fall days. Which means it is time to turn over that closet and go shopping. I actually hate to admit that I shot these photos in August. Since then I have just been sidetracked and overwhelmed but here we go. I know that you will want to explore Tootsie’s Dallas for some great fashion for Fall. I am obsessed with this Alice & Olivia jacket and had so much fun wearing it. The beading, color and attention to detail make it worth the cost!! These shots were the end of the day and it was humid and windy. So the hair is not my fave but the separates are so fabulous and you could take each one and make many different outfits. I have used two different jackets because I loved them both and I wanted to give you some options by changing up the accessories. Let me know what you think.

Tootsie’s has such a great curated selection of fashion at different price points. It is so easy to shop and the staff is really helpful. This Kobi Halperin sleeveless tie neck silk blouse first caught my eye when I was shopping with a client. It is such a great piece and the color is fab year round. I know some of you don’t like sleeveless so you can just add a jacket. It would be great with jeans or these trendy and comfy Cinq a Sept cropped bell trousers. I found two versions on line and will share both with you. Love Cinq a Sept anything, such great style. I was also obsessed with these M2Malletier bags. They are gorgeous in person and even have a shoulder strap. Love the geometric shape and modern handle.

Don’t you love color for Fall? I really like some brights all year long and this is a great solution. These jackets both incorporate fall colors with some pops of color. Love the flow of these pants and they really jazz up this outfit. My shoe is  from last year but the wine color is a great anchor in velvet and you can find a version this year. The bags in green and mustard are really easy to wear and can be neutrals in your wardrobe. I really like having a collection of small handbags in my wardrobe that are easy to grab and can elevate an outfit for a luncheon or dinner date. This brocade jacket is also by Kobi Halperin and could be a very versatile piece in your wardrobe. Take note that it is still ok for your top to be longer than the jacket.

These outfits really cover a lot of trends including velvet, dark florals, embellishment, pink and details like the flare pant. The handbags are a great example of the architectural influence on fashion. Sometimes if a piece is really unique and will last a long time it is worth spending a little extra. Fashion can be a curated collection and should reflect your personal style. It should also be fun and make you smile, like these Gucci glitter sunnies or my very fuchsia lipstick. And for sure I am wearing sunglasses in my photos from now on. Now I understand the blogger concept. You can feel a little anonymous and wrinkles don’t show.
