Plaid is always a great addition to your wardrobe because you can mix in lots of different pieces, patterns and colors from your existing closet. A bouclé jacket is even better because you also have texture to work with and you don’t have to worry if the fabrics match like you would in a suit for instance. This 3/4 length jacket is really easy to wear and my clients always want to cover the back side (if you know what I mean). You can wear plaid jackets with a jean, a dress or pants and a dressy camisole. Think outside of the box when maximizing the wearability of your plaid jackets. These Vince T shirts are classic and come in several colors. This neutral tote goes with everything. Leopard belts and booties can be worn in so many ways.
PLAID JACKETS ARE EASY TO WARDROBE
ADD A DRESS FOR BUSINESS MEETINGS
I had fun styling this plaid jacket several different ways. It is so versatile and can go from office to dinner or cocktails. Adding a little black dress is an easy way to make your look seasonless. It always seems to be cold in offices and restaurants so a light weight jacket can give you a lot of flexibility when getting dressed. You can wear this all year round. You know I am all about pattern mixing so I added a snakeskin bag for fun.
MIXING PRINTS FOR GIRLS NIGHT OUT
As you can tell I really like mixing patterns. This small plaid is easy to work with and I could add snakeskin and leopard for some different looks. This leopard camisole is one of my faves; add a great black pant and this look would be perfect for happy hour or a girls night out. My gorgeous gold hoops that I wear almost every day are from my friend Claudia Lobao. I have linked similar here.
Well you read my mind. I’ll bet you know that I am about to say that this would be the perfect travel ensemble. You have lots of outfits without having to pack a ton of items. I need to remember that the next time I take a trip and need some variety and a small bag. I have to confess that I pulled these looks last summer when I shopped the Nordstrom Half Yearly sale early with my fave Nordstrom stylist, Rachel Hepp. I was surprised at how fast the items sold out so I put off posting. So here you go!! I have linked similar items in most cases. Sorry I get so far behind these days. Thanks for reading and hope you are enjoying our crazy weather!! 70 degrees to possible snow this week. Only in Texas!! XO Debby
