A Leopard Print Blazer Can Anchor Your Fall Wardrobe

A leopard print blazer can update your wardrobe

I hope you all had a great weekend!! We went to Austin for a wedding so we missed all of the Texas/OU festivities and I still haven’t gone to the State Fair yet. That’s on my list for next week. Bill doesn’t like to go so I am waiting for my girls to go with me. It has been such a tradition in my family as my parents used to take my brother and me every year to celebrate their anniversary. I just want a corny dog and a beer. (I don’t even like beer that much but it just seems be the perfect combo)

Make A Bold Statement

You know I love shopping local boutiques and Tootsie’s is one of my faves. Some of the best fashions in my closet come from Tootsie’s. I love leopard and always have so it makes sense that I would want to add a leopard print blazer to my wardrobe this fall. Blazers are a big trend this year and I found a fabulous Frame leopard print blazer on my shopping spree. I love the fit and just styled it with some basic Citizens black coated skinny jeans that look like leather and a Cinq a Sept black ruffle neck turtleneck. I really wish I had taken some shots with the jacket open but these blog shoots are pretty hectic!! Love the ruffle collar and sleeve on this sheer turtleneck – very feminine and pretty. This Perrin clutch is pretty racy for me but Fashion is meant to be Fun!! Betsy Gallagher at Tootsie’s keeps me lookin’ good!!

I have kind of become obsessed with leopard while writing this blog. I am finding so many great pieces that you can add to your wardrobe so I’ll just write a separate blog on the other leopard trends. I was going to do some splurge and steal leopard print blazers for you but I can’t find any steals (well maybe one)!! I want to share a few of  my faves and they may be a bit of a splurge but well worth the mileage you will get out of this great print. I am not sure if you can tell but this Frame blazer is not only leopard but it’s velvet which is another hot trend this season. Last week I wrote about plaid blazers and I cannot stress the importance of prints in your wardrobe.

Well I hope you are having a great week and are safe if you are in the path of this new hurricane. My family had to evacuate Destin at the beginning of their vacay. The good news is that they are safe, the bad news is that they drove 8 hours for 30 minutes on the beach – very disappointing. I am a day late with my blog this week and I shouldn’t say anything because you might not notice!! Monday was a holiday so I can blame it on that, or being out of town, or hosting a dinner party… My husband says I am an expert procrastinator!! I may actually get cool enough to wear fall clothes so clean out your closet, transfer spring to fall and get ready to shop. I have plenty of ideas for you and am really good at spending other people’s money!! XO Debby
