I have been trying to post more blogs as I have promised in the past. I hope you don’t get overloaded. I know everyone has so many emails coming in every day. I delete most of mine from stores, etc but did find a great 20% off at Sephora last week and ordered my fave Caudalie eye cream online. It saved me $$ and a trip to the mall!!!! This post started, once again, with my Partner’s Card shopping spree last month. If you have never bought one, it’s always worth the money and the donation to The Family Place. Anyway, I was shopping at Tootsie’s and found the most wonderful gray suede Vince slides with fur lining. Well, I just could not resist these “house shoes” for wearing out and about. Soooo comfy and great looking. This color is called pewter.
The other thing I am obsessed with is these velvet jeans. I featured them on another recent blog and admit that I bought them in two colors, midnight (or navy) and black currant (or wine). These are navy and I thought it would be great to mix them with one of my favorite colors, gray. I bought these to wear this winter instead of blue jeans. They can be dressy or casual. This Elizabeth Gillette scarf just pulled it all together. She is always so generous to send me scarves each season and I think they are so beautiful. She is such and incredible artist. A scarf can truly make an outfit look finished. Visit her website for some great gift ideas. Elizabeth is offering a 30% discount on this Graphic Paisley scarf through December 31 with Code @DEBBYFASHIONOMICS
There are so many great cozy sweaters this year and I love this one from a few seasons back. (yes I do hang on to things!!) I love that it is longer and has a shawl collar but don’t buy a sweater with side pockets on your hips. I’m just sayin’!! Not flattering. Love love love these envelope bags by Rebecca Minkoff. Her bags are always so on trend for a great price. I chose this dark cherry velvet and plan to carry it with almost everything from jeans to dinner date to cocktail parties. (and it’s on sale)! I have to tell you that I love shopping at Tootsie’s and sometimes you may have to check out the store if you want to find what I am showing. I try to give you links but I have to say this clutch has been hard to find online but Tootsie’s has a wide variety of colors in this style in the store. This clutch also comes in a glitter version!! So fun for the holidays.

I am thankful for you all. You are so sweet to read my posts and I love your comments. I hope you are looking forward to a wonderful Thanksgiving with friends and family. We have a small group this year but am so thankful to have my very busy 90 year old mom with us. She is a hoot and entertains everyone. Bill is treating me to a trip to Memphis on Friday (so he can go hunting!! ) I cannot wait to see Hunter and am so happy that two of my girls are going with me. We have so many kids out of town that holidays are kind of spread out. Can’t wait until Christmas when everyone will be home!! Yay!! XO Debby
