Dresses are a great way to transition to Fall and I just thought the colors in this floral dress from Trina Turk are just gorgeous. She does prints like no one else in her price range!! I like this one too!! Pink in all shades is such a big color for fall and it makes me happy to have a little hot pink to brighten things up. I am not usually the biggest fan of burgundy on me but this dress was just overall a winner. I have to admit that I should have gotten the size 6 instead of the 4 because I would have been way more comfortable. Too much wine all summer!!! I was in a hurry and tried it on over my work out clothes and in my vanity thought I could pull off the size 4 – Big Mistake!! These trumpet sleeves are both elegant and sassy at the same time. I am wearing my fabulous Manolo Blahniks that I bought (brand new) this time last year at a great resale shop in Westport, CT. I was in New York for NYFW and also found this adorable mini bucket bag at Zara. Love mixing designer with a bargain!!! I also have to add that I fell in love with this Tory Burch blush pink pump when I saw it in the store!! Gorgeous!! I think I need it!!
I hope you had a wonderful Labor Day weekend. Can you believe that summer is officially over!! Well that’s why I wanted to show you some fun dresses to take you into Fall with ease. I wanted to accessorize this dress a couple of different ways to take you to lunch or cocktails. I have mentioned before that I pull shoes and bags from my closet so I cannot always give you the exact links in case you are interested. I try to get as close as possible and I try to give you a variety of price points. I love Rebecca Minkoff bags and this clutch seems to always be available each season in one version or other. They are well priced and you can find a good selection at Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom. These velvet sandals are a bit “last year” but I still love the look. I changed my gold hoops for tassel earrings that I bought on the streets of New York – on Broadway I think – when I was there for NYFW last fall.
I am trying to keep you updated on the newest trends for Fall. I promise to share some great fashion at affordable prices with a little luxury thrown in just for fun. Shopping is not always easy and I recommend going into your closet and making a list of what pieces you need to bring your wardrobe up to speed. Always take your list when you shop and keep your budget in mind and I can guarantee you will make fewer mistakes!! No regrets!! Fashion is meant to be fun!!! As always thank you so much for reading. Stay tuned. XO Debby
