Denim Trends & Ann Taylor Sale

Happy Thursday!! I am heading to Breckenridge today and am so happy that I found some great gloves and hats at Whole Earth Provision today. Of course I had a million things to do today like get my manicure, go to Tom Thumb, run by the Post Office and then try to find some warm gloves and a hat. It has been a long time since I have been to a wintry place and I wanted to be prepared. I found North Face and Patagonia gloves and a headband and feel like Bill and I are set to go!! Plus I figure I can wear these in Dallas when I go on walks. I really was bare in the good glove department. Of course I also had to write my Spring Trends Newsletter that will post next week and then this blog. I am trying so hard to post twice a week. Today I want to write about denim trends for Spring 2018. As you may have noticed, denim is here to stay and is appropriate in almost any setting. You can find everything from your basic Levi’s to the classic jackets from Gap to fancy denim suits. As I have said before I have to eat my words about “No Denim on Denim”. Anything goes these days. Here is my previous post to prove it.

I found some really great jeans at Ann Taylor. They have quiet a great selection and always a fabulous price point. The day I was shopping they had 40% off which made spending very tempting. I loved these embroidered skinny jeans and can think of a million ways to wear them. I always like a little bit of leopard but you could also wear a flat or sneaker.  Their sizes range from 00 to 18 and they come in Regular, Petite and Tall. I hope you haven’t gotten rid of all of your colored jeans because they are back in a big way this season. I have seen everything from hot pink to neon yellow and everything in between. I guess you have noticed by now that lots of hems are frayed. Don’t ask me why some jeans literally look like someone just chopped them off and left the ragged edge (like in this blog). Of course white jeans are great for all seasons and I am loving the crop wide leg this spring. You can find your style from high rise, curvy and skinny to the relaxed girlfriend fit. Once I find a brand that fits me I tend to go back for more. There is nothing better than a really comfy pair of jeans.

I so appreciate you reading this blog post and I apologize that it is pretty short because I need to go pack for an early flight. Yes that course on Time Management I took recently at SMU really has helped!! haha. Have a great weekend and I’ll keep you posted on the snow!! XO Debby
