Happy Friday!! Hope you had a fun Halloween. We went to see A Star Is Born and I highly recommend it!! It was even better than I expected. Earlier this season I wanted to write a blog on the Camouflage trend in everyday fashion. Well I went out shopping and could not find much. Fast forward a few weeks and camo print for women is everywhere!! In fact I even found a camo suitcase. Christmas gift for the hunter in your family?
CAMO PRINT ON THE BOTTOM
In fact I just found the cutest pair of camo print jeans at Gap for 40% off. Now the current Gap Friends and Family sale is 50% off – seriously a really great sale if you like the Gap. I shot some camo print jeans from Nordstrom that are a little bit stretchier but I like these Gap jeans better. They seem to run a little shorter than I expected but I’ll wear them with a bootie or riding boot. I will say that Nordstrom has quite a selection of camo print for women!!
This olive green or army green trend seems to be everywhere and goes perfectly back with camo. Looks like my blogs have had a green theme lately!! Of course it’s the story of my life that I found the cutest camo utility jacket at Banana Republic! I’m so cheap that I returned it thinking I would buy it next time they had a 40% off sale (which is going on this week!!) and now it’s sold out!!! Bummer! Story of my life!!
CAMO PRINT ON THE TOP
This is such a great time of year to shop because everything seems to be on sale and it is just getting cold enough to drag out those fall clothes. Sales seem to be everywhere so just keep your eyes open at your fave stores. Even Neiman Marcus has extended their 30% off shopping spree and they have plenty of camo print for women. I usually don’t shop my own blog but couldn’t resist the bow blouses on sale. There a lot of girls like me left home while the hubs goes hunting! Get your own camo ladies!!!
Hope you all have a great weekend and take advantage of the sales especially if your husband is at the hunting lease like mine. I have my mom over for a couple of nights showing her some senior living facilities in Dallas. I really want to get her closer to the family while she can still have some fun – she is a very active 91. Saying prayers that she will like The Emerson today!!! It seems like and active community. This will be such a hard change for her to move from her home, give up her car and stop working at Costco. Paul Markowitz of Senior Living Specialists has helped me so much and he says it is kind of like going off to college. We are truly the sandwich generation with aging parents and grandchildren!! That is exactly why she needs to move closer – so she can see the great grandkids more often. Have a great weekend!!! Love you all!! XO Debby
