Becoming a Fan of Ruffles and $650 Nordstrom Giveaway

I hope you are having a wonderful Christmas season. My house is finally decorated, my daughter had an ornament shower at my house for a friend yesterday and now I only have 3 days left until the family comes home. My upstairs is quite the gift wrapping mess. Of course my girls love to come over here and wrap all of their gifts with my equipment. I am looking forward to having everyone home and we all can’t wait to see Hunter. Don’t you think our first grandchild will be spoiled rotten by all of his aunts and uncles?? ALSO: I have another chance for you to win a Nordstrom Gift Card – this time $650. It runs from December 18 – January 1 so it’s a great way to shop for next Christmas or take advantage of  great sales after the holidays.

Now lets talk about ruffles. I would normally say that my style is very classic and I don’t wear ruffles. They are a bit fussy for me. But I was leaving Tootsie’s one day and saw this ruffle top by C/MEO Collective on a mannequin in the window and turned around, went in and tried it on and bought it. That is not me. I just don’t impulse buy and this is the most out of character fun purchase I have made in a long time. And I have had the best time wearing it during the holidays. There is just something about this dark floral print and the very large, statement ruffles that make it so unusual. Plus it is a little longer and super flattering. I love this version and the dress as well. And this one too. This Australian collection is very unique and has such attention to detail. I am quite fascinated by these styles.

I always seem to find special pieces that are hard to locate for some reason. So I want to share some other great ruffle tops I think you will love. I have tried to find a variety of styles and price points. Don’t be afraid to step out and try some new trends. I love mixing feminine blouses with jeans or structured pieces. I have mentioned before that I have really loved wearing these Citizens velvet jeans in burgundy. I would have said that this is not by fave color, but I have sure worn them a lot this season. So, never say never!!

Be sure to sign up for the $650 Nordstrom Gift Card  – the details are at the bottom of this post. I have participated in several raffles this season and hope this gives you a chance to meet the other bloggers and win some $$$ as well. During the holidays all of us would welcome a little unexpected gift.

Merry, Merry, Merry Christmas to all of you, my precious readers. You will never know how much I value and appreciate each one of you!! I hope and pray that your holidays will be filled with God’s richest blessings and that you and your family and friends will find Peace and Joy each and every day!! Safe travels and hope Santa brings you some fun surprises!!
