Antelope Shoes

I am very excited to introduce you to a line of shoes new to me called Antelope. The brand was started in 1981 in Tel Aviv and uses the finest quality of leather and is known for fitting a woman’s foot well. The shoes range from sandals to booties, platforms to block heels and wedges. They are great looking and come in a variety of fun colors and basic leathers. I chose this pair in brown because last fall I was on the search for a brown bootie, if you remember that blog post. I love brown and have always enjoyed wearing it even when it is not exactly on trend. I know that brown shoes are very basic but for some reason they seemed scarce last fall. I like the cut out open toe bootie style sandal with the top stitching. It is very versatile and is called the D’Orsay Wrap Sandal in Coffee, just FYI. It also is available in grey. The block heel is very on trend and adds stability.

When I was getting ready for this shoot I wanted to show these open toe booties (or sandals as the brand calls them) with a more spring/summer look. It happened to be a bit chilly and very windy on the day we were shooting so I chose this really cozy cotton sweater by C/Meo Collective  (from Tootsie’s a couple of seasons ago) and my all time favorite Gap skinny white jeans. (I will admit they could have used a tug every once in a while!! But we were fighting the wind for goodness sakes!!) I’m crazy about the all over white anchored by this great shoe. Don’t you love the stitching? I think it adds just the right flare and makes a huge difference in the trendy style. These shoes are so comfortable, as promised, I might add.

These shoes are so great that I decided to wear them with another outfit for the shoot. I was walking around all over Lee Park near Arlington Hall and they were really comfortable!!!! I hope you will like these two totally different looks and I think this shoe will also be great in the fall. I always love a wide leg pant and this one is such a trendy olive and great for summer. I always look for clothes that can cross over to several seasons.

Thanks for reading and I hope you liked this introduction to Antelope Shoes. Quality and comfort in fashionable designs are their signature features. I have really enjoyed wearing these shoes and I hope you will explore the website and find some styles that work for your lifestyle. I know that a lot of my clients have trouble finding shoes that fit and are comfy as well as good looking. There are several styles that I noticed that would also be great for travel. Enjoy the journey!!

Easter Blessings!! XO Debby
